"Tricoid" Cherry Coffee Table
It's not a circle, it's not a triangle. As a child I mistakenly thought this shape was called a tricoid. The shape where all distances measured through the center are be equal is a reuleaux triangle but since it just a name tricoid works.
The top is made from 5/4 Eastern cherry. The three segments are difficult to cut but the result is much better than just having straight boards.Three legs mean it is stable even on uneven floors.The three part strutted leg gives the impression of a floating top.
